Bahri Lab is proud to celebrate our 2026 UGA Young Scholars, Addison Bryant and Kayden Holmes, for successfully presenting their summer research at the UGA Griffin Young Scholars Poster Symposium.
Kayden Holmes presented her research on the Effects of UV-C on the Physiological Responses of Cool-Season Turfgrass Species, while Addison Bryant presented her project on Expanding the Host Range: Dollar Spot Infection of Gladiolus. Both students demonstrated exceptional curiosity, dedication, and enthusiasm throughout the summer, making meaningful contributions to the research activities in the Bahri Lab. It has been a pleasure mentoring Addison and Kayden and watching them grow in confidence as young scientists. Their hard work, professionalism, and eagerness to learn made this summer a rewarding experience for our lab.
We wish them continued success in all their future academic and professional endeavors. May they continue to pursue their passions with curiosity, confidence, and determination. We hope the skills, friendships, and experiences they gained during their time in the Bahri Lab will serve as a strong foundation for whatever path they choose next. We are incredibly proud of both of them and look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the years ahead.
